Physiology is the branch of science that deals with the study of functioning of biological systems. Human physiology focuses on the biological systems within the human body. The topics dealt with by this subject range from the physiological processes at cellular level to the organ system level. In doing so, physiology enables a proper understanding of the evolution of human body, molecular biology, and the various ways in which they function. The Department of Physiology in our college works as a complementary branch of the Department of Psychology and the courses taught are tailored to the need of BSc Psychology students. These courses help the students in understanding the basic concepts of neurophysiology and anatomy and how they function in tandem with other aspects of human body to produce what we know as human behaviour.
