Computer Science is a fast developing field that focuses on today’s most pressing challenges and have demand in nearly every field of work. Whether one wants to pursue a career in industry, entrepreneurship or academia, Computer Science education will give the skills needed to drive innovation and lead global progress. The Department of Computer Science was established in 2012 with a UG programme in Computer Science – B.Sc. Computer Science vide U.O.No.GA.1/D2/8456/2012 dtd.24/8/2012 with a sanctioned strength of 24 students. The department Currently,accommodates about 105 students and helps them adapt to developments in the dynamic field of IT. The department has a fully furnished computer lab with state of the art facilities and all modern infrastructures that provide a student-friendly learning environment. With its cohesive team of faculty members,the Department offers a quality UG program that focuses on the overall development of the individual along with academic excellence.
