The college is a SWAYAM NPTEL Local Chapter (https://nptel.ac.in/LocalChapter/statistics/4121/) since September 2020.
NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) is a project of MHRD initiated by Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati and Roorkee) along with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2003. NPTEL provides e-learning through online Web and Video courses in Engineering, Science, Technology, Management and Humanities. NPTEL is one among the nine National Coordinators of MHRD’s prestigious Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) programme – The Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) initiative by Indian Academia. Other SWAYAM National Coordinators are AICTE, UGC ,CEC, NCERT, NIOS, IGNOU , IIMB and NITTTR .
Training and courses delivered through SWAYAM are available free of cost to the learners. Learners wanting a SWAYAM certificate should register for the final proctored exams that come at a fee and attend in-person at designated centres on specified dates.
