Women’s Cell of this college was started in the year 2007. The Women’s Cell handles several issues related to women’s welfare. The Cell seeks to empower the students of this college and educate them on gender related issues.

. Objectives
- Handles issues related to women’s welfare
- Generate awareness of social issues for ensuring holistic education of students.
- Educate, empower and devise preventive measures for the prevention of gender bias and sexual harassment
Programmes Conducted in the Academic Year 2014-2015
- An awareness programme was conducted among the girl students on ‘Hygiene and Protective Rights of Girl students’ on 23rd June 2014 under the initiative of Women Cell members.
- A one day lecture on ‘Legal Awareness on Domestic Violence Act’ was conducted on 24th July 2014 by Adv. Asha Unnithan , Legal Officer, District Family Court, Trissur for IV Semester UG students.
- An exhibition was conducted in association with the Department of History on the topic ‘India- From Midnight to Millenium’on 17th October 2014 in History Department Seminar Hall.
- On 23rd October 2014, a one day seminar on ‘Personality Development’was conducted for the III Semester UG students. Resource persons of this programme were Dr. Reny Antony, Consultating Psychologist and Trainer in Communication Skills , Thrissur and Smt Indu S Menon, Clinical Psychologist, Jubilee Mission Medical College, Thrissur.
- On 24rd October 2014, a one day seminar on ‘Stress Management’was conducted for the III Semester UG students. Resource persons of this programme were Dr. Reny Antony, Consultating Psychologist and Trainer in Communication Skills , Thrissur and Smt Indu S Menon, Clinical Psychologist, Jubilee Mission Medical College, Thrissur.
- A one day lecture on Eco-feminism was conducted on 14th November 2014 for the Post Graduate students. Resource person of this programme was Myna Umayban, Social and Environment Activist & Research Scholar, Dept. of Malayalam, University of Calicut .
- On 13th March 2015, a seminar was conducted on Cyber Issues and Management for II semester UG students. Adv. Blaze Brian Bradly Chairman, National Human Rights Council, Thrissur was the resource person.
- On 16th March 2015, a seminar was conducted on Cyber Laws for IV semester UG students. Adv. Blaze Brian Bradly, Chairman, National Human Rights Council, Thrissur was the resource person.
